The last public input meeting was on 3/12/08 for the Housepark Skatepark here in Austin, TX. Concept design B was chosen and local skaters and representatives expressed their feeling on the design. Overall people were pleased. Some complaints were about the common areas for spectators being non skatable. "Everything in the park should be skatable". Others complained there was too much open area or wasted space. But overall everyone was extremely pleased. "This park is setting a new stage for parks in Texas. Up to this point its been the same old boring thing and crazy tranny" "This park fits Austin"
