City of Victoria Texas Skatepark

Designed and built by SPA Skateparks, the City of Victoria Texas skatepark opened in 2008. It’s still a skater’s destination skatepark in South Texas! Several public input meetings led to the development of a plaza influenced street course and flow bowl. This design-build skatepark took 3.5 months to build – from survey to completion.

The Victoria Texas Skatepark street course consists of an upper section of connecting pathways that drop 2.5 feet to a lower section with even more ledges, hips and manual pads. Banked ledges blending into a horseshoe transitional mini-ramp, a bridge gap and curved ledges are all unique elements added to the design. Landscaped and grass areas add a more natural feel and urban plaza feel. The bowl has 4 different depths of 3′, 4′, 5′ and 6 feet. It’s raised 4 feet from original elevation to include skate friendly walkways, connecting the bowl to the street course.

The City of Victoria added bleacher style seating, shade structures, a water fountain and a full skatepark lighting system.
