DESCRIPTION

The City of Lampasas Texas Skate Park is located within Campbell Park and will utilize the existing parking lot with Hanna Springs Pool. The interest and advocacy of a public skate park in Lampasas started in the early 2010’s. City leadership responded supportively to an overwhelming desire by the community to make the project a priority. Since 2015, the Wings of Eagles outreach ministry group has steadily become a solid force and rallying point for the community as the project developed. SPA Skateparks, in partnership with New Line Skateparks hosted two community input meetings where all were invited to contribute to the overall skatepark design. These meetings were very well attended by both online and in-person participants. A survey was distributed to those and anyone else to provide even further input on the skatepark design direction.
